  2. @You2Gov Is associating fire with pain instinctual or conditioning? I am fascinated by cause and effect and what drives buying decisions.
  3. @You2Gov I am suddenly reminded of a college class I took in the '80s where the professor's premise was that instinct doesn't exist.
  4. @You2Gov Not so much instinct as cognitive science and behaviorism. We are constantly making subconscious decisions based on conditioning.
  5. Hmmm. The book was written in 2007 and not 1983... Not sure how I initially came up with that date. Also authored The Tipping Point.

  9. @dreamslikefire Good design and layout appeals to people on a subconcious level. Initially, I remove my analytical mind from the evaluation.
  10. @dreamslikefire I had never read the book and when I read the summary on Amazon, I was a bit surprised. Someone stole my stuff 25 years ago!
  11. @dreamslikefire Apparently there was a book written in 1983 about the exact process that I use that he had read. I think he was impressed.

  13. The other day, someone on Facebook asked me if I would evaluate their blog for them. I did and provided him the process I use to evaluate.
