  1. Three things to do for Thanksgiving beyond food and football. First, thank God. Second, serve the poor. Third, pray for America.
  2. 1st time in my life: I'm taking Thanksgiving week off. Need to read the Pilgrims. Need Bev & my kids. Rest is worship.
  3. A great time on FOX this morning. People find the Guinness story of faith and generosity truly refreshing.
  4. That darn Obama. His doings bumped my FOX appearance to a taping for air over the weekend. Aha! Evidence that he is the antiChrist!!
  5. Whoops. They changed the time. Now I'm on FOX at 10:40 tomorrow morning. Enjoy.
  6. In New York: Making a speech at Essex House and then I'm on FOX at 9:40 a.m. (EST) tomorrow. Always an adventure.
  7. On an early morning flight to NY for a speech. Flying is still a miracle to me, which I'll enjoy if my eyes ever open.
  8. Leaving with Bev for an event to honor Amy Grant and Vince Gill. Can't think of two more deserving people in Nashville.
  9. Want to make a difference? Sponsor a child in poverty somewhere in the world. Log onto www.compassion.com to find out how.
  10. We knew it! A simpler life makes for a happier life. Great article saying so in Time magazine: http://tinyurl.com/yak6pyl
  11. In a mundane day of urine tests and haircuts, a newspaper reviews my Guinness book and makes me smile. Enjoy: http://tinyurl.com/ygw7luy
  12. Five fellow consultants and I agreed at a recent meeting. Best indicator of a dysfunctional leader? No friends close enough to speak truth.
  13. Back from Guam. Dorothy was right: "There's no place like home! There's no place like home!" Okay, now: c'mon Titans!
  14. Live every day as though it were your last, for one day you are sure to be right. -- Harry "Lighthorse" Morant
  15. Need an encouraging laugh? This'll do it: http://bit.ly/tT6ij
  16. Veteran's Day in Guam. Pretty much lost in meaning on the Mainland. Here, with so much sacrificed, it is patriotism revived, honor restored.
  17. My Op/Ed on the lessons to be learned from Guinness appears in Monday's USA Today. You can read it here: http://tinyurl.com/y973ggx
  18. In Guam now. Almost painfully gorgeous here. And the people are the most giving I know. Speaking often, including to the Governor's cabinet.
  19. If people in our generation need to belong before they believe, what meaningful belonging are we offering them?
  20. Our soldiers shouldn't have to be under fire at home. Pray for the troops at Ft. Hood.
