  1. Not a bad run of games for United in the remainder of '09. Need to use confidence from today's performance and sense of injustice at result.
  2. @Chiefsbury Rooney did ok but I think the defence and centre midfield were the standouts myself, totally shut Chelsea down.
  3. @BenHibbs Can't blame the ref for us not winning but can certainly apportion blame to him for not emerging with a well-deserved point.
  4. @BenHibbs Agreed, although we were cost the two most glaring chances by more terrible reffing (pen on Valencia, offside on Rooney)
  5. @algernonradish yeah, long-term we can only take encouragement from that. It's just going to smart in the short-term.
  6. @Chiefsbury but we were only cost an entirely deserved point (at least) by terrible ref decisions.
  7. @JSNFRMN Martin Atkinson, same guy who ref'd the derby. No idea how he's considered capable of refereeing big games.
  8. @Chiefsbury don't agree at all, we were excellent today, needs remembering we were away at Chelsea. Can't fault the team today
  9. @redranter was always going to be him or Drogba. Just have to keep imagining that same face in Moscow...
  10. Was expecting us to lose today, but not after being the better side and having the referee do everything but pull on a blue shirt. Ho hum.
  11. @redranter Exactly. Rooney had it spot on when he mouthed '12 men' at the camera at the end, absolutely robbery.
  12. 1-0 to the referee, how gloriously inevitable
  13. @redranter Nah, Drogba tried to charge into him and got unlucky, them's the breaks when you try that stuff.
  14. @redranter thought he did a very good job myself, was there to nullify Essien and has done it very well so far
  15. Two goals for Mame Biram Diouf for Molde against Aalesund today, finishing the season strongly before his move to Manchester.
  16. @JSNFRMN seems to be stuck in the reserves/injured at the minute. hard to find too much out with my limited portuguese/google translate
  17. RT @ProSnookerBlog: Ben Amos to come on and score next imo.
  18. Danny Simpson with a first senior goal for Newcastle makes it a hattrick of loanees scoring this afternoon
  19. And now Tom Cleverley with ANOTHER goal for Watford, what a season he's having. Can't (and won't) be going unnoticed by Sir Alex.
  20. Febian (not 'Fabian', GSS...) Brandy on target on his Gillingham debut, great stuff.
