  1. Our plane to Boston (via Salt Lake City) never arrived due to Mech. issues. So they booked us for tomorrow and got us a free hotel stay. =(
  2. Last day of Conference, then back to Boston. It's been a good trip.
  3. If anybody wanted to see our Martin Luther King, Jr. project, you can watch it here: http://vimeo.com/2985219. Hope you enjoy! #acmedia09
  4. It's wicked hot in Portland right now. (studio audience: "How hot is it?") It's so hot...Ron is actually taking his 3rd shower of the day!
  5. Off to the Tel-Vue Demo and then some lunch. Should be a sweet Hometown Awards tonight. This conference is flying by so fast... #acmedia09
  6. Brian took a workshop that detailed how other centers respond in a Community Emergency. (ie. Floods, fires, etc) Pretty interesting stuff.
  7. Day 2 at the #acmedia09 has better workshops so far than Day 1 in our eyes. Ron loved his "Social Entrepreneurship one to Sustain Access."
  8. In our hotel lobby, Ron and I just met a Boston legend, Johnny Pesky! We couldn't believe it. Heading to the Mass Access Gathering now.
  9. Attendees at the #acmedia09 Leadership Awards raised $25,000 in pledges for the ACM in under 7 min. Wow! Great work everyone!
  10. Off to Breakfast and then to the Leadership Awards Ceremony, which is now separate from the Hometown event. Looking forward todays workshops
  11. July's Live on Tape is being postponed til Aug 17th. Also, Ron will be taking part in the Bread of Life Golf Classic at Mt. Hood on 7/20.
  12. Despite being 3,000 mi. away from Malden, Ron & Brian feel right at home. There's a Ted Williams Documentary on TV. The end of a long day.
  13. Contrary to what we first thought, most of the ACM Conference is taking place at the Portland Civic Center, not at the Hotel itself. Hmm...
  14. Off to the ACM Welcome Reception. Hope we meet some cool people there. We already met one of our old friends...Julie DeStefano!
  15. Ron and Brian arrived at the Hotel in Portland for the ACM Conference. And Ron finally figured out how to use the room TV. Kinda sad...
  16. MATV had a musical icon drop by this week...Norman Greenbaum, the singer of the 1969 classic "Spirit in the Sky." It was "Far Out, man!"
  17. MATV will be closed Friday & Saturday, July 3 & 4 in observance of the holiday. Will reopen Monday.
  18. July 4th family events happening in all 8 wards on Saturday. Why not videotape the one in your ward?
  19. Shhh, it's Ron's birthday.
  20. "Malden Square" this Friday. Shoot at 11am. Topic is "Pay As You Throw" with community activist Bob Miller. Crew & audience always welcome.
