  1. setting up the bike, equip, insurance domains on bit.ly/R6xUY tomorrow onwards. Once this layout is done, should have everything covered
  2. pushed tag 0.1.3 - editing of content & layouts from admin interface done. next up editing menus http://bit.ly/ko7ew
  3. thought of a neat idea. have the view for edit content be stored in couchdb layout doc. this way you could do different types of content
  4. Design me logo - PLEASE ;) http://bit.ly/3z0eOa
  5. Come up with an *eye candy* interface concept. not sure how far I'll get to actually implementing it. quite a bit involved + graphics :/
  6. hmm need to designate a system domain and deal with different parts at the system/site level...
  7. Ok - a full content page exists, now to hook up all the voodoo to manipulate the different pieces http://bit.ly/3Ms3n8
  8. haml/sass exported to filesystem on Layout save pushed. This has improved performance by a factor of 20 :)
  9. Got sick of pressing ctrl+f5 twice to refresh layout css, so figured out how to render sass straight from couchdb to css, polishing off
  10. Good news from the bespin project, 1st item on the "reboot" agenda, Bespin Embedded http://bit.ly/iONP5 looking forward to that :)
  11. thanks @grantmichaels, seems that developing in the open and on a real implementation that the features "required" bubble to the top ;)
  12. Screenshot of bespin loaded with sass info from layout http://yfrog.com/4e87jp
  13. pushed tag 0.1.2 to GitHub http://bit.ly/11qv6A - able to edit layouts using bespin editor. have to type url manual for now
  14. bespin editor is currently be retro fitted - soon will be able to edit layouts from the browser! no more copy/paste from futon to texteditor
  15. ok so as long you can't hack nginx I should be safe disclosing the prod url for this that is the guinea pig for me: http://bit.ly/3Ms3n8
  16. Also need to figure out how to turn varnish on so the max response time can be reduced from ~250ms to 10-20ms (static file performance)
  17. Now onto actually putting up a "proper" layout, see how attachments are to be handled...
  18. pushed tag 0.1.1 http://bit.ly/250c9a - running in prod environment via nginx, haproxy, monit. had to set some options so haml/sass are fresh
  19. Since I'm in a useable state setting up production site with /mcms/ uri filtered by IP on the front end. Will publish prod site later today
  20. Right next major push done. Namespaced properly now, bit verbatim however allows simple lock down mode on uri "/mcms/" http://bit.ly/2ziZL
