Just watched a guy fall asleep with hot coffee in his hand. It's now all over him after a yelp. He's trying to pretend it never happened :(

@ Oh well, the battery life improvements are only on the AT&T version (global) not the Sprint one (US-only).

@ Sure, but I was already going 10+ days without a charge - so it's a big "improvement" no matter how it's classified

Why I wouldn't buy a Nook: B&N isn't a tech company, Amazon will move faster, and Amazon library, cust serv, & web services are world class

@ That's hilarious. I do it every morning. Kashi Go Lean + grapes, and this morning I was wondering if I was alone in this.

*Big* downside to Zune Pass is music overload. Last week: John Mayer, 50 Cent, Norah Jones, Owl City, Ben Gibbard, onerepublic, & 9 others

@ @ Sort of my point too. If it's defined by price, same $ is going to buy you a much better Win7 netbook in 2010

Prediction: the netbook as defined in 2009 won't even exist in 2010 - all notebooks will be far more capable at all price points

@ Windows 7 and Mac laptops wake in <1s and are infinitely more capable - and in case of Windows are available now & inexpensive

Still don't see how a single purpose device (i.e. browser-only) that'll likely cost the same as a multi-purpose device (PC) is interesting

@ I don't see much of a difference yet between it and any other Linux distro. Ppl need flexibility and choice won't be a factor.

@ I would look at it as a new product - it is. The model should be able to enable what you want with a feature or 2, I'll see
