  1. Several vehicles were broken during the early morning hours of Nov. 23rd. Make sure vehicles are locked and valuables out of sight.
  2. 3 armed men kidnapped a man and women and attempted to force them to take money out of an ATM. All 3 suspects were arrested and charged.
  3. A 24 year old man and 26 year old woman were caught burglarizing the home of a women who died earlier in the day. Warrants were issued.
  4. A 20 year old man was arrested Saturday, for stealing a purse from a church pew during services. He then stole the victim's vehicle.
  5. An incendiary device was thrown into the Pattonville Middle School. No one injured. Any information - call Det. Bureau at 314-298-8700
  6. A white male in a white truck attempted to steal lawn equipment in a residential area. Please report any suspicious activity to MHPD.
  7. Theft of lawn care equipment is on the rise in both the residential and business districts. Please report ANY suspicious activity to MHPD.
  8. A police officer involved shooting is being investigated. See website for further details.
  9. A 59 year old man committed suicide Thursday afternoon, in the 12000 block of Nantucket.
  10. Quick thinking employee at Grace Church stopped a child kidnapping and sexual assault of a 9 year old. James Steen (19) was arrested.
  11. 3 subjects arrested for breaking into approximately 25 cars in apartment complexes. Arrest possible because of a concerned citizen! Thanks!
  12. Sell out crowd at Verizon Wirelss Amphitheater (No Doubt concert) has created severe traffic congestion in the area. Be patient!
  13. A small plane has crashed at Creve Couer Airport (in Maryland Heights). Only minor injuries reported.
  14. Two more "Internet Predator" suspects arrested by MHPD were sent to prison (6 yrs/13 yrs). To date, 70 internet suspects have gone to jail.
  15. River Valley Rd. at the Missouri Water Works plant will be completely closed for several hours. There is a large water main break.
