  1. @CrystalLaine Yes, surgeons have to be objective. I'm sure the end result will be cosmetically wonderful! :)
  2. Found a tub of photos. Whew, memory lane is fun. Really old pictures. Lots of 80s hair.
  3. @CrystalLaine Holy cow, that's a huge cut! 75K. Have fun wielding the scalpel.
  4. @RachelHauck Just pop in the DVD of 13 Going On 30 and watch it 50 times. LOL! Ah, 80s music. Nothin' like it.
  5. @RachelHauck Oh, yeah, Beat It. And whenever I hear Thriller, my feet still want to move, even though I have *NO* rhythm.
  6. @itsonlywords True. We use speech rec software and it's scary how many native English speakers mangle the language and confuse the software.
  7. Wondering if MJ died for the same reason Heath Ledger did: misuse of prescription meds. Sad, unnecessary.
  8. @itsonlywords I do medical transcription. Interesting, sometimes!
  9. I love my synopsis, I hate my synopsis, I love my synopsis, I hate my synopsis, I love. . .ever go back and forth like that?
  10. @itsonlywords Ha, that's funny. I'm a full-time transcriptionist and have heard all kinds of things no one realized was being recorded!
  11. I do NOT want to see our next electric bill. Anyone have tips for getting through 100+ degree weather? We've got central a/c, ceiling fans..
  12. @Pammer777 Yeah! Go, Pammer. I'm working on chapter 2. And 'fixing' a synopsis. Sigh!!
  13. Tues. was 102. Idea for Wednesday: Frying an egg on the sidewalk outside. Like dad says, "But it's a dry heat!"
  14. Getting ready to go to Round Rock for Centex ACFW meeting today. Another sunny, hot day in TX, coming up!
  15. Austin was beautiful tonight. Had dinner at open-air cafe by Central Market, listened to some good jazz as the sun went down. Nice breeze!
  16. Wrote just over 1500 words tonight. I'm in love with this new story.
  17. Tons of thunder here right now. Texas is cookin' up a big storm!
