  3. Does anyone know any good writers conferences to speak at? So far, we will go to MT, WI, CA and TN to speak in 2010.
  4. Yea! The San Francisco Writers Conference just invited us to speak in February. We will teach authors how to market their books.
  5. I just finished "The Accidental Billionaire" which chronicles the making of Facebook. Fabulous book. I just started Paul Newmans' memoir.

  8. We just returned from the inspiring movie "Amelia" with Hillary Swank as Amelia. I hightly recommned this film. Great acting and content.

  13. I just applied to the Surrey Book Conference in Vancouver to speak at the 2010 book conference. It sounds like an interesting conference.
  14. I am reading a wonderful audio book by Ben Mezrich called Accidental Billionaires: The founding of Facebook - a tale of sex, money, genius.
  15. @mms_news. There seems to be many authors out there writing books but they have limited budgets. It must be a sign of the times.

  17. We will speak at the U. of Wis Writers' Institute on April 23-April 25th. Our topic will be "How to launch your book through powerful PR.
  18. @TimeOutMom We arrange for the media to cover the book store event and we also call special interest groups who may want to hear the author.
  19. When you give a book signing at a book store, don't forget to have the mangaer announce when you will be speaking over the PA system.
  20. After you are interviewed on the radio, don't forget to ask the producer to recommend you to other producers he knows.
