  1. @sammyboy405 Try looking in the error log (%TEMP%\luminotes_error.log) when that happens and see if there are any error messages.
  2. @sammyboy405 Glad to hear it's working!
  3. @sammyboy405 Whoops. Here's the file, completely untested: http://bit.ly/YKCPU
  4. @sammyboy405 All the .py files are the same across platforms.
  5. @sammyboy405 Possible, sure. I'd be interested to hear how it works out with Portable Python.
  6. @sammyboy405 Linux + Windows support on a single USB drive would be an interesting official feature though.
  7. @sammyboy405 I've never tried that, but you'd have to convince Luminotes to use the same luminotes.db on both OSes (maybe with a symlink).
  8. @sammyboy405 Attachments are left out of the export because HTML can't embed files. I'd like to add a ZIP export that includes files.
  9. @sammyboy405 There's no convenient syncing method yet.. I'm working on it! You can always export and import notebooks manually though.
  10. @jobiegirl6 And if you give me a better idea about what you're trying to accomplish, I may have more info for you!
  11. @jobiegirl6 If you just want to copy a single notebook, you could try exporting as CSV and then copying that to your USB drive.
  12. @MaennerblogDE Very cool!
  13. @MaennerblogDE All of your notes are shown under "recent updates" on the right, but you have to click "more" to show more than a few notes.
  14. @ethang I can't promise anything, but I'd be more than happy to answer any installation questions you have, either here or by email.
  15. Internet Explorer 8 growing note fix: http://bit.ly/E5ciA
  16. @ethang Actually, Luminotes has been open source since the beginning!
  17. Advanced Tip: Want to link to local files in LD without having to upload them? Not working in Firefox? Check out http://bit.ly/eLocx
  18. @fred1st Glad to hear LN is working out for you and your son!
  19. @msteinas I haven't tried Prism.. You could set up Prism with the LD URL (http://localhost/...), but you'd still have to start LD manually.
  20. @fred1st You're not the first person to ask about a Luminotes Desktop for Mac. :) Believe me, it's on my ever-growing to-do list!
