  1. Everytime I see the slap-chop ad and the guy says "you're gonna love my nuts" I laugh. Yes, I am juvenile.
  2. RT @daveweigel I nominate @DavidaRCHIE for a Shorty Award in #journalist because he let me borrow his pencil one time. http://bit.ly/shorty
  3. @schwanderer Are you kidding me? @JoeNBC is, IMO, one of the smartest and fairest people on TV.
  4. @daveweigel Very smart approach. I highly endorse it.
  5. Before any tweeps start accusing me of having lost my mind and political judgment, please know that that last one was an example of SARCASM.
  6. Holy crap, the Kennedys are endorsing Coakley. I totally never thought that would happen. Thought they were in the bag for Brown. Whoa.
  7. Let's be fair: Geithner may be an ass but replacing him w Dodd would be one of the dumbest things Obama could do.
  8. The panel on Morning Joe seems not to realize that a fundamental prob re Katrina was that New Orleans is BELOW sea level.
  9. @CharleyTerrito If he were 16 and fathered a kid born while he was w someone else it would be less newsworthy-- sad but true.
  10. @melissamoore So true...
  11. Hats off to Bob Barker for personally taking action to stop Japanese whaling. & thanks to @Maddow for having him on to talk about it!
  12. Cialis ads are getting to me. Music is getting stuck in my head. Contemplating their use of bathtubs also is more fun than proposal writing.
  13. @alexmassie I still love the Bremner, Bird and Fortune skit about the book about Hoon. "HOON!"
  14. @msbellows Although I guess Franken has already been there & done that, technically. But he always struck me as more comedian than talker.
  15. @msbellows Well, and I'm not sure we need to give a former talk radio host a seat in a chamber where filibusters are still an option.
  16. @MattJezorek Whatever you think of Jim Webb and Sam Brownback, pretty sure they've both put some effort into that issue.
  17. @MattJezorek I'm not sure I buy that. Good bipartisan work on prison reform, even in Washington, DC. Is it hard? Yes. But it's happening.
  18. @MattJezorek If one thinks system is host to prejudice, priority should be fixing that, not keep the racism, but allow voting to compensate.
  19. @MattJezorek But that gets at a fundamental point similar to what I said in post: If we have a prob w the crim justice system let's fix THAT
  20. @MattJezorek Yes, there are lots of felonies that I don't think should be. Drug-related things, mainly.
