  2. The Socialist Party have raised a motion to halt the demolition and stop the decant for the next full council meeting on Wednesday 20th May
  3. Bit of a break from Twitter but we've been busy nonetheless. We've received a message of support from the Green Left which is great.

  8. About 75% of the kids at Charlotte Turner are from Lewisham so its closure will have a direct impact on primary places in Lewisham too.
  9. We've just heard that parents at Charlotte Turner in Benbow Street, Greenwhich, has just been occupied by parents protesting at its closure.
  10. Let Lewisham Council know we are here to stay. Bring our children back! Make sure you let friends and family know

  17. Been absent from Twitter for a couple of days but keeping busy. Today we protested outside Prendergast where Gordon Brown was speaking
  18. And lots of people came up to say hello and tell us they'd heard about the occupation and supported what we are doing - which was great
  19. We were represented at the May Day march today and distributed leaflets about our planned march next week. Lovely day for a demo
