  6. Getting set for Arts for All Festival in Lawton http://www.artsforallfestival.org/ we have a special project with kids, murals, & recycling
  7. amazed at some of the ideas the our kids have for improving lawton and recycling - there are a few that would be great in office.

  9. We had over 900 entries in the essay contest but the teachers at the schools culled it down to about 250 for our judges to view.
  10. This month we have been working on recycling education in the Lawton Schools. Set an essay contest in motion at the first of the month.

  13. Recycle Lawton is a community program that will be making curb side recycling a reality. Though we need community help.

  16. Brentwood subdivision is ready to get started in the coming weeks. They will have a centralized location that the entire community can use.

  18. We are starting to go out into the community and educate about the curb side recycling program.
  19. The first pickup was succesful! The participants in Eisenhower Village produced 868 lbs of recyclable material!
  20. 1st pickup for the pilot program for the curbside recycling at Eisenhower Village will be next week Tuesday. Hurray!
