  1. You'd never know it was the same director as Bronson, Valhalla Rising and Drive. Three hyper stylised films with impeccable production.
  2. #Pusher: Nicolas Winding Refn's debut. Gritty, bleak and nasty. Pretty hackneyed plot but done with sufficient conviction to remain gripping
  3. performances, notably Bruce Willis and Ed Norton. The central story has real heart and is genuinely engaging. And quite funny
  4. his other films then you're probably not going to be converted by this. But if you go with it there is plenty to enjoy. Some excellent...
  5. #MoonriseKingdom: Wes Anderson's latest quirk-fest which is riddled with his usual idiosyncrasies and off beat humour. If you don't like...
  6. There was one scene of such exhilarating glory that the whole cinema erupted in applause and I laughed like a madman. Fucking superb. Wow
  7. #TheRaid: One of the most hyped films in the last year or so. I will say only this...
  8. The wii games that are played are outrageously offensive and hilarious. Real 'hand over mouth' fucking wow that's raw humour! Worth a watch
  9. #TheDictator: Sacha Baron Cohen's latest offence frenzy is all over the place. Occasionally hilarious but often falls flat with lame jokes
  10. #Safe: I should really stress that the action scenes are superb and exciting. The film also has some really odd quirks which amused me
  11. #Safe: It does what all good action should...made me want to shoot a gun and get into a fight
  12. #Safe: Big, loud and ludicrous Statham action vehicle. The confidence with which it is directed really won me over though! So silly and fun
  13. It has one of the most disturbing scenes featuring sadism I think I've ever witnessed. Definitely one for a second date.
  14. #Snowtown: Relentlessly grim, unpleasant and awful. But in a 'good way'. Very well put together and some top acting. But. Just. So. Grim.
  15. A rare turn too from Martin Sheen playing an unlikeable man. He delivers with aplomb.
  16. Some outstanding Christopher Walken moments too. He plays the main man and he's fucking menacing, damaged and very cool
  17. There is an episodic and old fashioned feel to the film, the concept is extremely well handled and I 'bought it' throughout.
  18. #TheDeadZone: A creepy, engrossing and well executed thriller/drama about a man who wakes from a coma with second sight.
  19. #TexasKillingFields: I think the one interesting fact about the film is that it is directed by Ami Mann. Daughter of Michael. Solid debut
  20. Sam Worthington has a movie star face but he's very un-engaging and lacks any charisma.
