  1. The School Board tentatively approves the Cajundome settlement, with one stipulation. See what that is in tomorrow's @theadvertiser.

  7. Bd mem Beasley says when Harvest Prep reps request a charter from BESE, he plans to protest it.
  8. The board unanimously voted down the charter school. Bd mem Cobb is absent.
  9. Bd mem Hefner amends motion to reject app because it is "not academically sound or financially well structured."
  10. He put in a motion to deny approval of Harvest Prep Academy.
  11. Bd member Beasley calls the application "very, very flawed."
  12. Now discussing the charter school, Harvest Prep Academy.
  13. They might have to build a discipline system to go w/it that could cost more.
  14. In July the School Board choose Infinite Campus as its student information system. It's contract cost about $1.5 million.
