  1. @RuthTemple @sagetyrtle @toddtyrtle No, sparklers! Todd must write Cory's name in the air with sparklers FIRST. Then use the boombox.
  2. Mind mapping of Series 9 now complete. Thank you, Tonia. Would break into Wind Beneath My Wings here, but can't manage it in 140 characters.
  3. @witty_knitter Oooh! Me! Me! I'm there. Got my invite from @RuthTemple this morning. (Thanks Ru.)
  4. @dmvtatter It was a documentary on 1930's photography. BBC 4's been doing a thirties thing, and we've been recording them.
  5. Watching a documentary with Tonia. She notices amazing photographs of blast furnaces. I notice amazing photographs of gorgeous gowns.
  6. Just spent all day reading The Secret HIstory, by Donna Tartt. Because I could NOT put it down. Fabulous.
  7. Bruce Forsythe can't sing, dance or deliver a line with conviction. And yet is beloved. Being a National Treasure is such a great job.
  8. Cut a bit of carpet off the bedroom leftovers. Let's see if OxiClean eats it.
  9. Squally showers predicted for Wales; a good day to fill the house with the scent of baking cookies. I hereby proclaim it Oatmeal Cookie Day!
  10. @kirinqueen I do indeed enjoy @mariancall. Thanks very much for the great music tip!
  11. @astitchintime Solution to bake/knit dilemma = Rock Cakes. Just 15 minutes to prepare, and you can knit while they're baking.
  12. My Lakeland order just arrived. OxiClean (yes, spelled with an "i" here) "not safe for use on wool or wool blends". #carpetcleaningfail
  13. Knitting gloves is fiddly work.
  14. @megwarren RSS, in plain English here: http://tinyurl.com/25b9qn @DianeInChicoCA Sadly, the meaning of life exceeds 140 characters.
  15. Tonia at her mum's tonight and I swore I would eat like a grownup. Best I can manage is tuna sandwich w/ a whiskey chaser. Bon Appetite!
  16. @aquabunny Just searched for Oxi Clean in the UK, and found it at Lakeland! #lakelandlimitedrocks
  17. Now have mental image of Marines in yellow gloves, and aprons.
  18. Vinegar and bicarb = improvement. Coffee stain definitely has faded, still visible, but also still wet. May need to call in the Marines.
  19. Home from shop with glycerin, vinegar, bi-carb, shaving cream, and carpet cleaner. One or more of them bound to work. Thanks for the tips!
  20. @beingbeverley Thanks. Hoping for first hand knowledge of coffee removal method. I don't trust internets with my new cream-colored berber!
