  1. Chilkoot Trail Center will open May 28,2012. Permit fees begin June 3 when the backcountry will be staffed and trail marked! Happy Hiking!

  10. Risk of frost on the trail tonight! Salmon is running and the brerries have ripened so the bears are out. Make noise and travel in groups.
  11. Trail markers will be removed Sept 7, staff will be off trail by Sept 8. It is very cold at night, bring woollies, toque, gloves, and stove!
