  1. Stitches out yesterday, healing nicely but Steri-Strips for a bit and another dressing. Now adept at showering with a bag over my foot
  2. Another brilliant day yesterday, out on Solent with friends on their boat across to Folly. Reminded us what all the Formanda work is for...
  3. Brilliant day yesterday filled with goodies like discussing orders, receiving cash and sending invoices. I like the sweet smell of success
  4. I've now found shoes that should let me hop to London. Thanks for all the critically important advice NOT to do sandals/sock combo, ever.
  5. Limping up to London this morning. What is the coolest look with a suit - exposed foot and slightly bloody dressing versus sandal and sock?
  6. Took on a runaway holecutter yesterday and it won. Eight stitches in foot. At least it justified my first aid course two weeks ago
  7. Feet were unfettered for the best part of two weeks and I'm sure they spread out...hurt like anything wearing shoes today
  8. Back to work today; so many wounds, splinters, bruises that I have to stop working on Formanda for a bit, just to recover...
  9. @RichieDeb hey Richard, good to hear from you. Life is busy but okay. How things with you?
  10. Ah the gentle sound of raindrops on my boat and the chilling breeze around proudly unshod feet; it must be the summer again.
  11. Holiday day 1, garage tidied, cleaned two cars, strange sense of achievement no deck chair could provide (or so I fool myself)
  12. And I thought I left rigging discos behind me 28 years ago...all for the love of a niece!
  13. I made it under 11 stone. My eight-mile walk Thursday night the tipping point? Price one blister, two sore legs, three insect bites :-)
  14. Incredible in-ear music while working on company web pages on aft deck of boat. iTunes shuffle reminds all the great music on my laptop
  15. Experimenting with LED interior lights on the boat. Found an MR16 style with built in 8V-30V regulator that seems promisingly bright
  16. Upgraded to iPhone v3, copy and paste yay! But eclipsed by Navionics chartplotter app with charts for UK and NL. 15 quid. Stupidly good.
  17. @andyjeffries have been holding off on iPhone 3 but weird iTunes unavailable messages also experienced on v2
  18. Working but out in the sun at 0730 so about as good as it gets if you have to be playing with plans
  19. Reading Robert Peston's Who Runs Britain
  20. I will only be doing of design in Hexagon three times next year, amateur societies declared uneconomic to stage by Reading Borough Council
