Looks like no Kestrelcam this year, haven't seen the kestrels near the box for around a week now. Jackdaws are in box No. 1.

Male kestrel was sat just outside the second box this morning. Not sure they have taken ownership just yet!

Not looking good for having the kestrels nesting on camera this year, box 2 starting to see some Jackdaw action. Not seen kestrels for days.

@ Bit frustraing, moved the camera down to the other box but appears to be a problem with the cable. Need to try and fix it.

Jackdaws have taken to the kestrel cam nest box, time to move the camera back to the old box and see what happens down there!

Some work to do over the weekend to move the camera to the other kestrel nestbox. Jackdaws look to be the residents of the current box!

Looks like the Jackdaws have kept the kestrels away from the box. Seen the kestrels down by the other box, 100m away.
