  3. Winter Storm Warning has expired for the central S Plains (inc LBB) - continues 'til 4pm for areas east of Tulia, Plainview, Lubbock, Tahoka
  4. An occasional car or truck now making it across the Flyover from S Loop to northbound I-27. Many roads still icy and snow-packed.
  5. Western counties will soon be dropped from Winter Storm Warning, but will continue central areas (LBB inc) due to blowing snow.
  6. Flyover from S Loop to northbound I-27 still closed, but is being plowed. And skies are now partly cloudy.
  7. National Weather Service reporting 4-5 in. of snow seems common over the central S Plains, with a max of 7 in at Shallowater.
  8. Drivers report that if you take it really slow, especially when breaking, you can get around if you have to. Travel is still discouraged.
  9. Snow FALL now ended west of I-27, but blowing snow still reducing visibility. Roads snow-packed and icy. WINDY and COLD.

  11. Spotty power outages reported due to storm.
  12. Hwy 84 completly closed 3 mi south of Post due to jack-knifed 18-wheelers. Please avoid the area - and don't travel if you don't have too!
  13. Lynn Co many cars have slid off roads, mainly HWY 87 FM 400. Travel strongly discouraged this morning.
  14. Slaton to LBB drive took 1 hour... more cars in ditches than on the road.
  15. Near blizzard conditions at times with the strong north winds over the next few hours.
  16. Winter Storm Warning 'til noon... snow and blowing snow, icy and snow-packed roads... local law enforcement discouraging morning travel
  17. Light/moderate snow will begin along the TX-NM border this afternoon, spreading eastward across the viewing area by this evening
  18. National Weather Service LBB: WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for SNOW and BLOWING SNOW from 3 pm this afternoon to Noon Thursday.
  19. Light rain showers, especially W - N of LBB, this aft. A cold wind will develop, & as temps drop rain becomes to snow - early eve in LBB.
