  1. A few flurries reported across Brazos Valley, but it's the winds that may cause problems, especially if you're traveling to North TX tonight
  2. Winds kicking up with our second shot of cold air this afternoon...off and on clouds and mist expected through much of the afternoon as well
  3. Tornado Watch canceled early for all but Montgomery, San Jacinto and Trinity Counties. Expect those to be canceled within next hour or so
  4. Once storms clear our last two counties to the east over the next hour or so, severe threat looks to be over for the Brazos Valley.
  5. Strong storms continue into San Jacinto and Trinity Counties. Expect heavy rain and cloud-to-ground lightning.
  6. Strong, gusty winds are expected behind our cold front today. WIND ADVISORY in effect until 6pm. Expect 15-25mph gusting to 35+ at times
  7. Squall line getting its act together as it is heading out of the Brazos Valley. Expect strong storms across I45 and Conroe over next 30 min
  8. Flood Advisory in effect for Austin, Grimes, Waller and Washington counties until 11:45 PM
  9. Tornado Watch extended until 6 AM tomorrow morning.
  10. TORNADO WARNING in effect until 6 pm for Houston, Trinity and Walker counties.
  11. TORNADO WATCH in effect for all of the Brazos Valley with the exception of Lee and Milam until 9pm. Check KBTX.com for the latest & radar

  13. Cell picking up intensity in Grimes county just east of Iola moving to the NE at 35mph. Doppler showing a bit of lightning as well
  14. Broken line of showers taking shape through Madison, Grimes, Washington & Austin Counties. (11am)
  15. Thunderstorm chances continue as our cold front moves through overnight. Some strong to severe storms could have gusty winds & some hail
  16. As the day progresses, mos. cloudy skies w/ highs in the 70s. 50% chance of iso. to scatt. storms, some of which could be strong to severe.
  17. Scattered showers taking shape across our south & southeastern counties this morning, moving NE @ 35-40mph.
  18. Moderate to heavy rain moving north into Austin and Waller Co. (12:30pm)...occasional thunder possible as well
  19. Tonight,scattered shower and storm chances increase to 40% with bigger chances through Thursday AM. Some could be strong to severe at times
