  1. @rtcave And I respect my PEEPs in the SmallH community out there. It's harder in the small places than it is the big ones.
  2. @rtcave Working at the BigH you can focus more on one specialty area, but I do sometimes miss the diversity of working in a smallH
  3. I mean, honestly, if your home-care is that much better, just leave and get out of my hair. I am sick of dealing with you. You are a PIA.
  4. Attn Family Member: If you are THAT unhappy with the care we are giving your loved one, sign the f*k out and go home.
  5. @rtcave I used to hate going to OB or L/D stat. Lucky where I am now has dedicated NICU ppl...neo/peds is not my thing.
  6. @seejanenurse I am often weary of compliments from patients but perhaps you truly do just have pretty eyes.
  7. RT @wailinglist: Boy just ran out of the bathroom at Chipotle, yelling: "Mommy, my poo-poo was so smooth I didn't even have to wipe!"
  8. I probably give GALLONS of the damn stuff out every day, and maybe 5 or 10% of the therapy I give is actually indicated or useful.
  9. Can't wait to go to work tomorrow and give people hundreds of useless treatments. Wish my profession had the balls to say NO to Albuterol.
  10. @ImnotBenny That's what happens to me anyways. You might be a far more successful ladies man than I. For your sake I hope you are!
  11. @ImnotBenny Whiskey and pizza. The hookers would just drink all the whiskey...this way you wake up and can't remember you didn't get any...
  12. RT @hostagenurse: RT @funnyoneliners: Give a jackass an education and you get smartass.
  13. Coming soon to http://keepbreathing.wordpress.com: The 12 Days Of Christmas, Respiratory-Style!
  14. Solution to low SPO2: write "98%" on a square of paper. Apply to monitor with plastic tape and tell RN that "the numbers look fine." WIN!
  15. @rtcave welcome to THE DARK SIDE! I miss nights sometimes, but working days has made it easier to function on my days off.
  16. new post: http://keepbreathing.wordpress.com/2009/11/21/of-all-the-days/ I've been way negligent of my internet friends. Sorry all!
  17. @myrtlife But I can't figure out why. Our mgt. is all about "don't break the circuit ever" but then we're supposed to change them too?
  18. @myrtlife We change vent circuits for retarded reasons...use stiffened circs for APRV and change regs. every 7 days for "infection control"
  19. Evidently "I'm almost ready to go" means "prepare for three hours of waiting" in woman-speak.
  20. @Xtne Ha! No worries.
