  1. So technical and dress went well and we're all set for the opening night on Thursday 7.30pm at the Southmoor Village Hall. See you there!
  2. Tonight is techical rehearsal and tomorrow is dress then we've got Wednesday off all ready for opening night on Thursday - stay calm!
  3. The cast assembled at Blunsden rail station museum yesterday and we got some very nice pictures of them in costume in authentic surroundings
  4. It's getting close to show night! We're putting the final touches to action, lights and sound. Tickets are selling well so book now!
  5. Coward's orginal play suggests Alec and Laura's relationship went further than it did in the film version - you have to look deep though!
  6. We're taking some rehearsal photographs tonight which should appear in the Abingdon Herald next week!
  7. Very pleasing to see to see the relationship between Alec and Laura starting to take shape at this early stage, well done Rob B and Stella.
  8. Don't forget that 'A Brief Encounter with Noel Coward' is on the 26th, 27th and 28th of November 2009 7.30pm in the Southmoor village hall.
  9. We have have all the blocking done for Still Life. It's now up to the actors to learn their lines and perfect the on stage action!
  10. Here we go then, the first night of rehearsals for 'Still Life' and other Noel Coward material! Classic Coward, this should be fun!
  11. Rehearsals for our Noel Coward evening start next Monday 7th September. We're looking forward to doing the great mans work justice.
  12. Audition date for 'A Brief Encounter with Noel Coward' has now been confirmed as the 4th August 2009. Please come and see us and be involved
  13. Currently we have the 4th August penciled in for open auditions for our production of Still Life by Noel Coward - watch this space!
  14. Tomorrow night we'll discuss the plans for our November play which will be Still Life by Noel Coward. It's part of our 60th year celebration

  16. On Saturday the KBDG ran a Cluedo race game at the village fete and it seemed to go down very well. Drama-wise we're in our summer lull!
  17. When a Man Knows is also entered into the Wallingford Drama festival which runs from 9th June - 12th June in the Corn Exchange, Wallingford.
  18. The casts of Kill Jill and When a Man Knows now wait to see if they get called back for this Saturday's gala evening at the ODN festival.
  19. Last Sunday saw When a Man Knows well received by the adjudicator and tonight it'll be the turn of the cast of Kill Jill, break a leg guys!!
