  1. Fire burning. Snow still falling. Grading papers. Thinking about how much time students spend writing and how much I spend grading.
  2. @swylder Kim says she could put on a big one but with the jumping and galloping I don't know how effective it would be!
  3. Kim is on her third round of shoveling. We have over a foot of snow so far and it is coming down even harder now.
  4. Molasses cookies, peanut butter cookies, sugar cookies, rum balls.
  5. Winter wonderland! Shelby and I are going to build a sleigh for Emma. It will make mrining walks easier. We'll sit; she'll pull.
  6. Bourbon to celebrate the completion of the paper; mild headache from the pressure of the storm coming in. Very excited to be snowed in....
  7. @swylder thank you for coming to stay with Miss Emma and master flash. Shel loved seeing you and I hope ems didn't terrorize you!
  8. The philosophy paper is done and delivered. Now maybe tonight I can go down (hee hee hee!) (I'm giddy from the stress!)
  9. I pulled out Hacker's Love, Death, and the Changing of the Seasons to provide an example of poetic beauty. We're getting closer to done!
  10. One of us is going down this afternoon - me or the philosophy paper. It MUST end.
  11. Cranky today and not entirely sure why. Lack of light? Menses? Not finished with that philosophy paper? A stack of papers to grade?
