  4. With loft & wall insulation + double glazing & now under-floor insulation that's about as cosy as it can get in a 1938 house in Edinburgh!
  5. Getting Caving enthusiast (! smart eh) to staple 'ecowool' made of recycled plastic bottles up under floorboards on ground floor of my house
  6. Taking things slowly, breathing in the damp day.
  7. All Hallows eve, when spirits of the dead are closest to us, those wonderful people in my life who have died, good to feel their presence
  8. Been out in the sunshine getting organic compost for growing trays of sunflower, pea and buckwheat greens - I like being self employed!!
  9. Looking forward to a long and interesting day with a longer and interesting list of things to do - and wondering where to prune list :-)
