  1. @brianpink As a survivor of many years of bad Cal teams, I'll settle for bowl games every year. 8 wins? That's three seasons in the '80s.
  2. @brianpink Occasionally they switch up the order of where the badness goes
  3. @ejacqui I do that every now and then. iPhone muscle memory.
  4. @danielpunkass Now imagine your app is 3-D modeling software. Goldmine!
  5. @jasonphilo I may need to denounce that e-mail world-wide.
  6. @HuntHenning No, really all I want is to know if someone cites a piece of mine somewhere, or rips me off. Google used to be the answer...
  7. @mgetzski This was a complain about Staff Picks on Apple.com (for Mac software), not Staff Picks on App Store.
  8. @HuntHenning So I can tell when people are talking about me, of course.
  9. @HuntHenning No, News Alerts are e-mails telling you what's new on the Web based on your search query. Five-year-old articles aren't new.
  10. @HuntHenning They're polluted with items from years ago.
  11. @jasonact Presumably, though he also complained about us not reviewing his product. Weird conflation to assume both are us.
  12. In other "ways Google isn't as good as it used to be" news, my Google News Alerts for my name used to be useful, but are now useless.
  13. @wklj Mine's got 105,000 miles on it. I do park it in SF every now and then, but only in a lot by the office 5-6 times a year.
  14. @wklj I don't park in San Francisco.
  15. Cal looking terrible. This is their year in a nutshell: promising start, but in the end pretty ugly.
  16. @mgetzski @danielpunkass I don't think they even get you rich, to be honest.
  17. @bonaldi The mainstream media was paying less attention to Apple then than it is now, believe it or not. But they are similar, yes.
  18. Trust me, if we controlled Staff Picks on Apple.com, I'd be driving a much nicer car than a 1994 Honda Civic stick-shift.
  19. Just got an e-mail blaming us for not making an app a Staff Pick on Apple.com (!) and threatening to "denounce this scandal world-wide."
  20. RT @mat From now on I'll think of it as the minutemen tablet ("punk is whatever we made it to be")
