  3. 12/9/1809: Long walk round the City. Dined with Count Rzewuski, a Polish Nobleman. A small party. Evening at home.
  4. 12/8/1809: Saw the Museum and Library of the Academy of Sciences with Telisius. Dined at Six's. Eve at Prince Beloselsky's.
  5. 12/7/1809: Visit from Harris and Rodde, Vice Consul at Revel, to Laval and Telisius. Dined with Pardo, Spanish Minister. Ball [at] Bergien's
  6. 12/6/1809: Cercle Diplomatique St Catherine's day. Smith and Everett presented. Dined at de Bray's. Card at Countess Litta's.
  7. 12/5/1809: Visits to Count Strogonoff, Duke de Serra-Capriola &c. Dined with Count Einsiedel. Evening visit from Harris.
  8. 12/4/1809: Letter to S.S. -- With Harris, Catherine Johnson and Everett to the Hermitage. Evening visit from Madm. de Bray.
  9. 12/3/1809: Went with Everett to the British factory chapel. Heard Mr Pitt. Evening visits with Harris. Colombi's and Severin's.
