  1. Wow, CompuServe has shut down: http://cli.gs/YntqWX - times have changed since it was THE social media platform.
  2. Let's see... running shoes: check, new bike brakes: check, android phone tethered to laptop: check.. Ready for a week of vacation :-)
  3. I keep expecting the Twitter homepage to update like FriendFeed does but it never happens. Real-time? Only on F5.
  4. @KimClink_MrsC Sounds scary. I'm hiding in the clubhouse. Also on a different continent. We have lots of healthy food, he'll go back fast.
  5. @KimClink_MrsC I have enough work with my own kids, please don't send more, I need my sleep! :-)
  6. Cycled 598km to the office in June, >1200km in Q2 - hard to beat that next month unless I actually get into shape, lol.
  7. @mvandemar You generally don't lose PR for obviously hacked content. I'll take a look when in the office. Did he post in the forum?
  8. @mvandemar Even without the display:none those links are going to be spammy - try [site:domain.com keyword] to see if they're indexed.
  9. @Harith Can you post some example URLs of sites using the scripts? Which ad-blocking-user-blocking scripts do you use?
  10. @DazzlinDonna I've been using FF3.5 for a while (for my Greasemonkey scripts), it works for me :-). Some exts. don't work, no big deal 4 me.
  11. @Harith If your server is accidentally blocking Googlebot & you want it indexed, you should fix that. Adblocker or no adblocker :)
  12. @SebastianX Whereto?
  13. @Harith I would not recommend blocking users just because they might not see all of your site; that's a bad user experience.
  14. @Harith Blocking users with adblockers, you could accidentally block other users too (incl Googlebot). Happy users do more than click ads :)
  15. @Harith So this is a kind of ad-blocker that replaces ads with other ads? How does this affect Googlebot? (who doesn't run adblockers :-))
  16. @Harith I'll give it a try :-)
  17. @Harith Can you elaborate " JS blocking specific users (surfing with Ad-defacing software)" ?
  18. @ChristinaGayle no, haven't written one yet :-)
  19. @noirins I still have a bunch of Questions left if you have the answers :-)
  20. @mahaniok I wonder what will become of http://cli.gs/Qa14pL ?
