  13. Question of the day: Did the Gov shake hands with the Speaker of the House and Senate President before and after the Gov's speech?
  14. The whole speech lasted less than a dozen minutes
  15. He threatened us with a full summer overtime session. He said we must act like adults. Basically we either vote for a tax increase or else.
  16. He said he will veto any unbalanced budget. He is providing examples what dire consequences will occur if the budget is unbalanced.
  17. Gov Quinn is now talking to us at a joint House/Senate session in the House. We got word about this less than an hour ago
  18. I really enjoyed teaching over 100 police and prosecutors in Indianapolis this week. A great group of people
  19. it's been a productive week in the legislature. There are actually some good things happening
  20. Setting goals for the upcoming week at the Capitol. Will be there Monday through Friday
