  3. @GEOpdx True, and if it's discoverable, usable, and accurate, then the quantity is irrelevant. Maybe by quantity they meant "messy"
  4. @GEOpdx Bad data surely exists. If that's spam so be it. But Ms DiMaio's point was that quantity alone makes it spam.
  5. @GEOpdx If done right, agreed. But what we want from govt is data, not instr's from them how to use it, nor deciding how much is too much
  6. @GEOpdx Unthrottled gov't data is not "exactly like spam". Not even close. So long as it's discoverable, usable, timely, and accurate.
  7. @GEOpdx Secondary...maaaybe. Primary is opening access to data and allowing users to find and use it.
  8. @GEOpdx Sure, but creative ideas and skilled developers connect web services to mom and dad. Keep FTP an option too.
