  4. 8 jars of spiced plum jam now cooling on the counter; taking a break before I tackle the pepper jelly.
  5. Successful farmer's market trip. Now to make spiced plum jam, red pepper jelly, and canned cold-pack white and yellow peaches.

  17. Verdict - tomato sauce recipe needs tweaking, but it was a good start (plus, it used up 5 pounds of cherry tomatoes - yay)
  18. Experimental (cherry) tomato sauce currently reducing on the stove. Thank goodness I have a food mill - all those peels!
  19. @jeditigger Yep - we get all our plants from a local place that has only heirloom varieties. Those = green, purple, yellow, and red(dish)
  20. We just harvested slightly over SIX POUNDS of cherry tomatoes from the garden (yes, we weighed them), and there are STILL TONS MORE.
