@ Well, when I'm accustomed to having a desktop that is 8 times faster than my laptop, yes, I'm doing it wrong ;)

Pst. Can someone tell me what the default value is for HKCU\Software\microsoft\start\groupthreshold? I seem to have lost it in my notes.

@ I got your messages, but I'm on mandated vacation right now, so I'm hoping to start dev again soon.

The Lumia 800 is perhaps the most awkward, uncomfortable phone I've ever had to hold against my head. Beautiful phone, but still...

Balancing work and mandated vacations is a little difficult. This being said, got a nice trick on backgrounding, working on LockWidgets now

@ @ Mango changed a lot, haven't bothered since. If you're so curious, feel free to experiment on a broken feature ;) :P

@ @ Uh... I don't really know. It basically just keeps it in memory, rather than dehydrating. App still suspends

@ @ Measured? Not really. Haven't had any issues tho. It pauses the threads, so it doesn't hurt too much

@ Dehydration was part of it, but 7.0 apps can be installed as resumable, even on Mango. 7.1 apps are handled differently though :\

@ Yeah, it makes sense from a user point of view. I'm just pointing out that I discovered it at one point, liked it better personally.

@ Not really. What it does is resume the app from the dehydrated state, same as going to start and hitting back. Back quit still works

@ It's actually possible (and implemented) to do this, Microsoft just disabled it for.. whatever reasons they had. Wish they didn't.

Siri always used to say that when you asked about cell phones. Why they switched to Wolfram for that query is a mystery. Nothing new.
