  1. Many of you have suggested a rescue club, but that's too easy. Besides, what would one of them be doing at the Woods estate? Not in his bag.
  2. No report on which club she used. I think 3-iron would have worked best; if downwind, Stevie may have recommended she go 4-iron instead.
  3. According to local police chief, Elin Woods used a golf club to smash windshield and help her husband out of the car.
  4. PGA Tour official on Tiger Woods' car accident: "No comment at this time." Shouldn't come as a surprise.
  5. Best guess? TW will be at Sherwood this coming week, but we won't know much more after he meets with the media. Dude is always tight-lipped.
  6. If TW skips the Chevron, we likely won't see him in public again until the PGA Tour event at Torrey Pines during the last week of January.
  7. Will be interesting to see whether TW still tees it up at his own Chevron World Challenge next week. If so, he'll face a firing squad.
  8. From Tiger's office: "Tiger Woods was in a minor car accident. ... He was admitted, treated and released today in good condition."
  9. More on Tiger: Reports are that he has been released from the hospital with facial lacerations. Still lots of questions left to be answered.
  10. Reports have confirmed that Tiger Woods was in a one-car accident at 2:25 a.m. Working on details now. Will update here when I have more.
  11. My definition of Black Friday: I once played 45 holes in 30-degree weather on the day after Thanksgiving without a birdie. Dark day, indeed.
  12. Thanksgiving math: Extra serving of turkey x tryptophan + a few cold beverages = sleep > late-night golf telecast from China.
  13. Local newspaper agate today lists English golfer as "Ian Poulte." Guess the agate editor isn't on Twitter yet.
  14. Turns out I've been brushing too vigorously. Periodontist equated it to swinging the club too fast. I understood the analogy completely.
  15. Just rocked the vote in the GWAA's annual balloting. My picks for POY: Tiger Woods (duh), Jiyai Shin (close) and Loren Roberts (closer).
  16. Do the math. Vijay has played an average of 9.5 more events each season than Tiger. That means he plays about one more tourney every month.
  17. Tiger Woods led the PGA Tour with 121 top-10s this decade. That's three more than No. 2 man Vijay Singh ... in 95 fewer starts.
  18. 99 things to be thankful for this, uh, Thanksgolfing (sorry): http://tinyurl.com/yanczee
  19. Champions Tour has 26 events in '10, but only 24 on the LPGA, meaning more Leonard Thompson and Gene Jones than Lorena Ochoa and Jiyai Shin.
  20. This just in: Kansas will play a concert at 2010 PGA Merchandise Show. Carry on, my wayward hackers. I guess Styx wasn't available.
