  1. UltraMon 3.0.6 integrates nicely with Windows 7. Even the per-monitor taskbar matches the look & feel of the main taskbar.
  2. UltraMon 3.0.6 just released. Includes Windows 7 support. Get it while it's hot... http://bit.ly/3TBXoF
  3. @sbohlen Honestly that's not all the missing UltraMon features, just the ones that I use regularly.
  4. Vista WEI to Win7 WEI is same at 5.9. HDDs and GPU are limiting the system to a 5.9. CPU/Memory rate 7.2. At least it didn't go down. :^)
  5. @sbohlen I hope UltraMon 3.0.6 (next beta) comes out soon. There are some Win7 workarounds for 3.0.5, but I'd rather wait.
  6. @sbohlen Mirroring, full-screen window moves, per-monitor taskbar, maximize across all monitors, ...
  7. @sbohlen Yes, Win7 has much better multi-monitor support. UltraMon still does a lot that Win7 doesn't though.
  8. Cleaning up old programs after Win7 upgrade. Should have probably done that beforehand...
  9. @younghunt No, Win7 RC. Been recording screencasts and couldn't risk Camtasia not working during deadlines. Turns out Camtasia works fine.
  10. Only failing program on Win7 so far is UltraMon. Author is planning fixes for next update... http://is.gd/1vaA3
  11. Creative X-Fi is working properly. Very nice sound card, but temperamental drivers, in my experience. So that's a relief.
  12. @jcansdale I upgraded from Vista x64 to Win7 x64. Took awhile, but completely unattended.
  13. Checking out existing apps... Camtasia works. VMWare needs to update drivers. A few driver updates, but upgrade seems to have succeeded.
  14. Living life dangerous and upgraded my main dev machine to Win7 through the upgrade process rather than clean install. So far, so good...
  15. This looks awesome! Lazarus: FireFox add-on to recover lost form data in the event of crash, time-out, gremlins, ... http://is.gd/1rP4n
  16. According to Dell's website, I'm not subscribed to their promotions mailing list anymore, but I'm still receiving promotional emails. FAIL!!
  17. LOL!!! Scientific Attempt To Create Most Annoying Song Ever - http://bit.ly/ufVbk
  18. @lazycoder YUI3 is an improvement, but I still prefer jQuery's even terser syntax: $('#foo').click(function() { /* do stuff */});
  19. @will_highfield Yes, I was activating the server. Error message was very misleading. The problem was that it didn't have a product key.
  20. Creating Server 2008 VM from sysprep'd image. "Key Management Service host could not be located" == you forgot to enter a product key. WTF!?
