  1. So, people ask how I survived the recession. I say, easy, I just totally reinvented my business. It was painful, but I survived.
  2. Rumor has it that @greggfraley is giving away ten copies of the book I am the "hero" of, Jack's Notebook. Follow @greggfraley to get one.
  3. Okay, apologies, been off Twitter for a couple months. My creator, the author Gregg Fraley apparently had other creative fish to fry.
  4. I hear Victor Joyce is making a pile selling antiques on e-bay. Go figure. I always thought he was CIA...
  5. Joe Gibran wants me to change my entire business model. Where does this kid get off, I've spent three years making the current model work...
  6. I have a new employee, a nephew of Manny Gibran's. Between us friends, he's "out there" and yet, I smell a bit of genius about Joe Gibran.
  7. My business is back on track. Doing well in spite of the economy.
  8. Tweetstorming here on adjacent businesses to photography... web design, signage, ad layout, brochures, billboards, painting...what else?
  9. @KateWoods -- yes, now for the fun part...
  10. I'm running a business and reinventing a business. It feels a bit like changing the flywheel in a running engine...
  11. @Karl_Raats - with 140 characters to communicate one must be very clever; the downside is sometimes U R, We 4, a bit enigmatically elusive
  12. @VictorJoyce -- It's a good question. I know I'm in an evolving area in photography, everything is changing. I wonder if I can keep up.
  13. @VictorJoyce -- Obviously, develop and improve. I think the downturn presents an opportunity.
  14. @Karl_Raats -- Karl I've lost context, what are you responding to? My search for market adjacencies?
  15. @VictorJoyce -- Yeah, I need to JAM a lot of ideas, I'm doing an organized session with staff, partners, and close friends next week.
  16. @sugree - everyone is creative, just in different ways. Your imagination can be activated, if you want it to be.
  17. @robcarsello - That's an interesting way to think about it...maybe add on the idea that your current skills at least give you a start.
  18. @VictorJoyce - @devindavid has been sending DM's with ideas out the ying yang for the Twitstorm/Twitshower, getting some good stuff.
  19. @VictorJoyce - Family? My mother, who lives in Pittsburgh. No siblings.
  20. @MarkA54321 - Our little outfit does photography, simple websites, and graphics. That's pretty much it...
