@ No, that's not it, this was a natural one piece cork. I am going to blame TCA until I can figure out what else it could be.

@ Yes, all too familiar with TCA, can usually pick up at low levels. This wine was clearly not right, just wish I knew why.

@ I've only tasted this flaw in natural cork btls so I'm thinking TCA. Don't think it was sulphur or SO2 maybe storage or shipping?

@ No, not filmy or cloudy. At first taste seemed OK, but finish was short and metallic.

@ No, first time for that wine but familiar with the winery. Malbec from Mendoza. Have tasted that flaw b4 but not sure what it is.

Wine fault question - recently had a wine with subdued fruit and a metallic finish, seemed flawed. Was this mild TCA or another flaw?
