  1. @marcusdawes You'll pay more, but you won't get more.
  2. Meeting last night went to 10. Meeting this morning starts at 7. Both are good, but I'm sleepy.
  3. @marcusdawes you're a biased Texan. He's not a premeire NFL quarterback. You heard it here.
  4. Just saw Favre's stats from yesterday. Looks like he went surgical - 23 for 25, 4 TDs, and 0 INTs. I was one of the doubters 10 weeks ago.
  5. @chrisaltrock 2 variables to consider: the preacher's gifts and the church's culture. There are others, but I think these are the biggest.
  6. Yeah baby http://twitpic.com/qk5il
  7. Just updated my gratitude list. I have copies in the car, office, and wallet. Reading thru it in a discouraging moment is a powerful thing.
  8. Thank you for losing, LSU. You totally had the game, though.
  9. @jroelive Amen to that. I preached that text last Sunday and it carried me through the whole week.
  10. I just realized that I've been participating in no-shave November. It's great every now and then to give the face a break.
  11. At Tu Tu's house. She's the family matriarch and a living testimony of God's faithfulness.
  12. On the road to Alabama with the girls
  13. @Matt_Patrick See you tomorrow.
  14. @Matt_Patrick I agree. It was a political endorsement.
  15. What a powerful statement LifeWay made today by putting this at the front and center of their stores. http://ow.ly/i/8uR
  16. For some reason, this story has never haunted me until now. What an indictment of the human condition (me). http://ow.ly/DTIJ
  17. Finishing a sermon on gratitude. Trying to avoid platitudes and Hallmarkisms. But 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 is often used that way.
  18. @joshgraves I agree. Pastner is solid. Hope you're well, bro.
  19. Yesterday I met with the MVP of the 2004 Alamo Bowl (Dan Alexander who played for Nebraska). Then I 8 lunch w/David Letterman's 1st cousin.
  20. @RunMichael Randy recommended it to me as well and it blew me away. Our leadership team will be reading it together early next year.
