  3. Had to repave my MacBook Pro - Snow Leopard was OK & Win 7 was UNTIL I joined it to the domain & registrations broke - AutoCAD, Office etc.
  4. Ok you so-called "OS-X experts" tell me how you force narrow DVI blanking on a Mac. It's not in the GUI so it'll be in XFree86 conf?

  17. @timothyburton Interesting, the last few times I've seen a live-video windows on a desktop on CSI it's AMCap - the freebie webcam utility!
  18. @james_willett Was in the cinema this afternoon and they showed a Lego ad I remembered from the early '80s - it even had 1" VT artefacts!
  19. "2012" is the 1st movie I've ever seen where the computers are running a recognisable OS - Vista or Win7, but not that CSI-operating system!
