  1. Back on line late at night. Wind is down, dogs asleep and if you don't Tweet you're out of the loop. Anyone know Chamonix? Aguille du Midi?
  2. @BrandyandIce What job, Sal? You're sounding exactly like me.
  3. @BrandyandIce Went well, thanks. One more step in a long slog toward the goal of working for this outfit. I hope the sun comes out for you.
  4. @CloudCounter Packing it in here, but wanted to say, Hi, John. Night.
  5. @eventersmom And then some. From now on, just as he's about to tee off, someone will say "Cheetah!" and he'll have to deal with it.
  6. By myself then. The story of Oceanus and D.T. Rhysing's to be written aloft and alone. The Sea waits for us all. See you there. (GYST1 FYM0)
  7. http://twitpic.com/sisjl - @BrandyandIce Because you asked.
  8. The night is almost gone. Time to go talk to D.T. Rhysing. Later.
  9. http://twitpic.com/s82r2 - @Onanda Glorious.
  10. @Onanda Met Observing Assistants and then spent time in each Control Room. No word yet on my prospects, though. Patience is my mantra.
  11. @Onanda No problem up there despite recovering from bad cold. Drank lots of Gatorade and cranked up my breathing a notch. Snow and ice. Brr.
  12. @Onanda Spent 7 hours at the summit three nights ago. I believe they wanted to see if I exhibited any symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness.
  13. @Onanda Good evening, back to you. It will be my morning in 23 minutes. How goes the journey?
  14. RT @spiritart_7: "Embrace your uniqueness. Time is much too short to be living someone else's life." Kobi Yamada
  15. Rain lashed down this morning, as I suspected it would. Thought the day was lost (pleasantly so) but the sun has come out and I must go too.
  16. http://twitpic.com/s37fe - Sundown a week ago in my world. Time for sleep. See you in my dreams. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzR7u4rwFSY
  17. I know a man named D.T. Rhysing. When his story is told there's going to amazement and wonder at why we didn't think of that. The Sea waits.
  18. When I go, I'm going to come right back and try it all over again. There are creatures I won't kill and moments I'll cherish more.
  19. There is in Twitter a cathedral clerestory where swallows swoop and soar. I float with them, a mote of dust in a shaft of sunlight, smiling.
  20. http://twitpic.com/s32cw - The west side of the Big Island was covered in Vog today. Trade Winds strangely absent. Storm coming?
