Indygardener Picked 1 small 'Eight Ball' squash, 1 small 'Gold Rush' squash & 3 green beans. Expecting a lot more produce in another week or so.
Indygardener I'm actually going to wait until Wed. to mow the lawn; it should be a bit cooler and not as humid.
Indygardener The garden has a definite 'summer feel' to it, sort of quiet, waiting for rain.

Indygardener Ate a small tomato from 'Micro Tom'. It was a tomato, but hardly big enough for one bite.
Indygardener Finally emptied out spring pots of violas, they were pretty well shot for the season and looked pretty bad. Now they are composting.
Indygardener Picked 1st 2 small squash: Ambassador and Cue Ball, eating them tonight for supper.
Indygardener Need to clean and refill hummingbird feeders and see if I can get some to come by and call my garden home.

Indygardener I've got my eye on the 1st zucchini squash to pick tomorrow. Already planning how to eat it for dinner.
Indygardener Tied up tomatoes. Lots of blooms, no fruit set yet, except on 'Micro Tom', which are too tiny to be much. Plants look healthy.
Indygardener Heading out to the garden to weed, deadhead, and just generally enjoy the flowers. It's a beautiful day!

Indygardener Am I the only gardener who enjoys mowing the lawn? I know there are others like me. Good exercise, fresh air...
Indygardener I like how all the coneflowers look right now. Soon they'll go to seed & attract finches to the garden.
Indygardener Finished mowing the lawn. It looks nice & green because of all the rain we've had. Looking forward to the next time...
Indygardener @ZanthanGardens I have only pink rain lilies. the white sound pretty.
Indygardener Trimiming is done, taking a break for lunch, then 'drumroll'.. I will mow the lawn for the 24th time this season. I know! Fun!
Indygardener Switching gears from weeding to trimming around the beds in prep for mowing the lawn. Still pretty soggy in some places.
