  3. Harvested compost from 2 bins, now I'm going to get out my chipper/shredder and chop up stuff. Therapeutic beyond measure.

  6. 69F & sunny, finished mowing & mulching leaves, sweating like September! Love the smell of dried leaves.
  7. Random thoughts while mowing: Even w/ bare branches & plants blackened by frost, there is real beauty in the fall garden when the sun shines
  8. I'm heading out to mow! To perhaps meet up with Dr. Hortfreud. It's been 2 weeks since I last mowed & it is so nice out! To mow, to live!
  9. When the wind blows, the last of the leaves fall like rain.
  10. Taking a copy of Horticulture magazine to my mom to show her the article on page 10.
  11. Listening to @hoosiergardener answer gardening questions on the radio WIBC 93.1 while I'm running errands.
  12. 1st draft of weekly column done. Need to let it rest before editing. Time to go visit Mom and help her get started on... Christmas shopping!
