  1. LL #2: Tweets aren't enough 4 complex topics, so time to get back to blogging. Visit the Show Me the Shall blog for what's behind the tweet!
  2. Lesson Learned #1: Daily tweets are not sustainable. Why? It's more important for them to be authentic than ritualistic - Inspiration is key
  3. OK, OK, so I didn't meet my Lenten goal of 40 tweets, but, as the saying goes: "Experience is what u get when u didn't get what you wanted."
  4. #28 Meditation: Doc Control 4 Signs: Ever seen a rev level on a stop sign? Well the city knows their locations, so how are they controlled?
  5. #27 Lenten Do: Wanna keep EVERYTHING electronic? Afraid of posting signs because they don't fit into your control scheme? Time for a change!
  6. #26 Lenten Do: Think outside the box when it comes to document control. U need flexibility & simplicity for it to be effective.
  7. #25 Lenten Do: Get info off the screen & out to ops areas. Enviro stuff rarely happens @ computers & even God needs signs to communicate!!
  8. #24 Lenten Don't: If contractor communication is just "legalese" in a P.O., don't be surprised when they cause env. problems - get specific!
  9. #23 Lenten Do: Fish may be Lent approved, but it's time to beef up contractor controls - the std says they have environmental impacts too!
  10. 200 Tweets! That's nearly 4X as many tweets as there are "shalls" in the standard. Is there really more to say? Of course, so stay tuned...
  11. ISO ready for a tiki cocktail to celebrate 200 Tweets!! Thanks to all my followers for hanging in there - Cheers!!
  12. #22 Lenten Do: Remove the scales from your eyes: absence of change is not perfection; it's a trap that you must escape to improve.
  13. #21 Halfway there! How are you doing on your Lenten commitments? Stay strong - gains may mean pains, but at least we are over the hump!
  14. #20 Lenten Don't: If you are the lone voice & sole authority, then it's your EMS & that's an ISO FAIL, no matter how pretty the paper is.
  15. #19 Lenten Don't: Remember that raise you didn't get when you were "knighted" EMR? You didn't get a cape either - stop trying to be a hero!
  16. #18 Lenten Do: Think a CFT is only for initial start-up? Time to bring it back! Cross-funtional support will solve your stability problems.
  17. #17 Lenten Do: Commit to getting EMS help & stop doing it all alone. It's time to stop the one-man/woman band & start real implementation!
  18. #16: Don't complain u work in a bad culture & yet choose status quo - the only healthy choice is change: change the culture or change jobs.
  19. #15 Lenten Don't: Continual Improvement means sometimes you get worse before you get better. Are you pushing the bad news under the rug?
  20. #14 Lenten Do: Having trouble seeing progress? Time to look your metrics; they need to tell an interesting story, not just show status quo!
