@ The built-in WordPress export backs up your content (basically posts, pages & comments); phpMyAdmin gets ALL your settings.

@ It's looking for your blog host's FTP information. Most hosts email the details to you when you sign up. Does that help?

@ To use the theme, you have to set up WordPress elsewhere. It's not hard (see the vids on my site) but not totally free either.
