  1. RT More envious than proud. @danieldelaney At Stamey's BBQ in NC. @hollymoore would be proud. http://twitpic.com/r88u4
  2. Red beans and rice for breakfast. Among other things I am thankful for Cajun Kate's in Boothwyn. Better than many a NOLA joint.
  3. Heading to Cajun Kate's for a smoked brisket po'boy and a quart of shrimp and sausage gumbo for Thanksgiving eve.
  4. Upset that two of my favorite sandwich places, Paesano's and George's, will be facing off at 9th and Christian.
  5. @ruthreichl My favorite breakfast from time in Amsterdam - cold, blood rare prime rib topped with a couple of fried eggs.
  6. Vegetarian scrapple just ain't right.
  7. Breakfast today - sitting at counter at the Morning Glory. A regular floor show - watching the cooks behind the counter handle the rush.
  8. Need 3 TiVo's - 9 PM tonite - the Eagles, Jose Garces on Iron Chef final, final Seinfeld reunion on Curb, and can't miss Dexter's knife work
  9. @drewlazor "... tweeting from Jose Garces' "The Next Iron Chef" viewing party..." Hope they have the Eagles game on.
  10. Finishing off a Sarcone's Italian hoagie and learning all about Guy Teriffico
  11. Hawthorne's and S.O.S. for breakfast. Nice comfortable feel to the place. French-press coffee. Great home fries.
  12. @GrubStreetPHL "College kids skip out on mandatory tip..." Check out the place's Yelp page/pics http://bit.ly/QP0xW
  13. @mealticket "assertion and nuance with capsaicin." Has to be riot control at Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility
  14. Lunch today. Partially eaten stew back to open kitchen to reheat. Goes into a pan. More stew added. Brought to boil. Voila. 2 portions now.
  15. Would someone please bring a Pollo Campero franchise to Philadelphia. http://bit.ly/3lltsr
  16. @zataar Pastrami chips were potato chips with "pastrami seasoning." Tasted more like a bbq chip than anything else.
  17. Lunch - great pork belly reuben w/weird pastrami chips from Supper. Wish I could have also ordered a cup of soup. Only $9 or $10 bowls avail
  18. @mealticket "Hot/spicy/Korean" would work nicely for a normal person. Alas, some med I'm on makes my mouth painfully sensitive to hot/spicy.
  19. Trying to come up with the perfect restaurant for lunch on a windy, rainy November afternoon. Could really use a giant bowl of Snert.
  20. Lunch today: Zahav hummus, flat bread and a tub of Johnson's World Famous Quality Caramel Corn - all from Green Aisle
