  1. pedestrian traffic will be shifted to the sidewalks on the south side of Hillsborough Street, now completed
  2. Sidewalks on the north side of Hillsborough Street from Logan Court to Maiden Lane will be closed.
  3. New crosswalks and campus entrances have been near Frazier’s Bistro, Horne Street, and the Alley (formerly Western Lanes).
  4. Traffic delays on Hillsborough Street are expected between Oberlin Road and Horne Street.
  5. Hillsborough Street businesses remain open. Please patronize your local businesses as we work to build a new vision for Hillsborough Street.
  6. Hillsborough Street from Blue Ridge to the Bell Tower will be closed Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the City of Oaks Marathon.
  7. Don't forget about Nina Szlosberg's luncheon and charette tomorrow at noon at the belltower!

  16. Construction on this project is now 30 percent complete. Contractors estimate that work is one month ahead of schedule.
  17. On 8/29, from 8-9 a.m., traffic will be diverted away from Hillsborough between Brooks and Pogue St. for utility work. Detour to be in place
  18. The pipe will need to be replaced and will require one lane flagging operations in the area of Logan Court a majority of the day.
  19. Last nights rains caused an existing storm drainage pipe to fail.
  20. Crews are repairing a 6” water main that was damaged last night. Businesses may experience reduced water pressure. Traffic may be affected.
