@ For most things yes, I'll be sticking with XHTML. Just wanted to do something different for this, and HTML5 tempts me regularly.

@ I work to IE7+, Firefox 3, Safari and Chrome. I do try to make sure it functions in IE6, but past that I'm no too worried.

@ I'm actually flattered. I'd be wary of the 1200 unless you're ignoring 1024 entirely. I still like how it looks in spite of that.
