  3. Biking along the river trail in Lawrence was awesome this week. Beautiful fall leaves, cool breeze, soft, warm sunlight.couldn't be better
  4. Too tired to care....Need sleep. Need a vacation. Need a break...
  5. Biking fashion (check), running fashion (check)... dressing in something other than jeans and a t-shirt... help!
  6. I am a fashion flop. Where does one go to learn how to dress so as to not look so "un-cool?"
  7. 27 miles yesterday. Awesome ride! Beautiful day, too! What a way to stay heart-healthy!
  8. Budget cuts impacting Nursing programs at universities. Less RN students, less grads...how will it impact healthcare reform?

  12. Took care of a friend with traumatic brain injury this week (I'm a nurse). Very sad. Motorcycle accident, no helmet...

  15. Just saw the Harry Potter movie..good movie, but the book was better. :-)
  16. PLUS, it would be like a "stimulus package" for the economy--not spending gov $$ on healthcare coverage for EVERYONE in congress!
  17. See how long it takes them to implement national healthcare when they don't have it, and someone they care about needs it.
  18. I propose everyone in congress go without healthcare insurance until a national healthcare policy is passed.
  19. I'm thinking the government ought to PAY BIKE RIDERS for doing society a favor by biking everywhere instead of driving!
  20. Bicyclists are easier on the healthcare system (healthier), easier on the environment, less stressed, have more energy (ie. better workers)
