  10. Never go to the grocery store on an empty stomach. Make a list of what you need to buy and stick with it (do you really need those cookies?)
  11. Using juice to get in a serving of fruit? Make sure it's 100% fruit juice and not made from concentrate which is high in calories and sugar.
  12. Having a bad day? Don't turn to high-calorie comfort foods; listen to a favortie song and dance or call up a close friend or family member.
  13. Don't skip that meal! You may have trouble concentrating, get a headache, or feel like you didn't get very much out of your class.
  14. Take it slow when you eat: it takes 15-20 minutes for your satiety signal (the signal that tells you your appetite is satisfied) to kick in.
