  1. went to a candlelight vigil to show solidarity with Iranian protesters. Most of the crowd was Iranian, but there were non-Iranians too.
  2. @GamePolitics Oh, I agree, but even without the character who may or may not be underage, it's still porn and should be treated as such.
  3. @GamePolitics Er... there's plenty of porn for every fetish, including rape. It's very common in Japan. Why treat a game differently?
  4. @GamePolitics Not bad, but you largely missed the fact that these "games" are (and should be treated as) little more than interactive porn.
  5. @GamePolitics Hey Dennis -- I heard your interview on the CBC today :) It was an interesting debate.
  6. @GamePolitics Cool... radio or TV? I listen to CBC Radio One pretty much all day at work, so maybe I'll hear something about it :)
  7. was overwhelmed by the cuteness of little ducklings bobbing around and catching flies in their beaks: http://bit.ly/piIZL
  8. randomly ran into some Israeli guy who she shared a taxi with last January on the bus today. He's nice, so I'm glad he's doing well.
  9. saw loads of goslings, one duckling, and one particularly cute and fuzzy cygnet.
  10. went for a nice long walk in Stanley Park and is delighted that her knees not only survived the ordeal but feel fine.
  11. was thrilled to discover that now that the swelling is gone, her knees are healing rapidly. I'm ambulatory and it's glorious!
  12. has been instructed to do straight leg exercises to help her knees and was left with the impression that the injury probably isn't too bad.
  13. is happy that the swelling in her knees seems to have gone down but still needs to go to the doctor to find out what to do next.
  14. has discovered that frozen peas are not only cheaper but BETTER than those gel-filled cold packs for keeping swelling down.
  15. is not happy about having to miss work, especially on pay day.
  16. doesn't like how her knees look all misshapen due to the swelling.
  17. has her legs up and is icing her knees. No pain, thankfully. I'm sure they'll be ok in a few days.
  18. has swelling in her knees (a jogging injury, probably) and is very reluctant to go to work for fear that it might get worse.
  19. was pleased to discover that listening to the CBC makes jogging (even in the rain!) far easier.
  20. removed some blackberry bushes from beside the house and bought a nice, summery hat and skirt for less than $20.
