  1. Shop will be closed for two weeks over the holiday, but the phones will be live and I will be available.
  2. Our ex-paved road had a cover of clay put on to seal it but with the latest snow and rain, it is now about 3 to 4 inches of mud!
  3. 3" snow this morning, but over 40 degrees this afternoon. Frost will keep all the moisture on top, mud is in the forcast.
  4. Bought a new iMac yesterday, or Paul got it for me at a discount. thanks. Got the big screen, but don't get it till 12/28 bummer.
  5. Toured the lights of Malin, OR this evening. For a small town of about 800, there is a lot to see. The park is outstanding.
  6. Back from a great Alfalfa Conference in Reno. Big news is that both milk and hay prices have bottomed out and are headed up.
  7. Trailer is loaded, bags are packed. Reno, here we come. Interest and sales have increased considerably. Very encouraging.
  8. Great news. I have been asked to do a weekly blog on Haytalk. Exciting, I love it and will proceed with gusto.

  10. First snow with a bunch of wind and cold. Only about an inch, mostly just a big blow.
  11. Got to do something that is not shop work, book work or office. Might do an overnighter with the little lady. I like that.
  12. TGIF!! Last couple days have been rough sledding. Putting finishing touches on the production of the 620, marketing, helping Gin pay bills.
  13. 620 sales are way ahead of expectations. Probable reason is that the real time field reports are very favorable.
  14. Ginny is home, whoopee! But her knee is bad, downer. Orthopedist, here we come. No insurance of course.
  15. 620 trial in gophers, 230 mounds, 48 hrs later, 8 showed up. 5 days later, maybe 12 or 13 new mounds. Treated end of field . moving in?
  16. Wow! Chuck Guetz did a prairie dog trial in S. Colorado. 2100 holes, 5 that opened up after treatment. Unreal kill rate.
  17. Finishing the latest 620 today. About 3rd generation and impressive. Beautiful clear, tall day. Love fall.
  18. It is harder to pick up a cat when you are standing on their tail.
  19. Garden is harvested. Scads of tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, squish. Corn less so. Food bank loves the extra, will plan on that.
  20. Snow this AM. First of the season. New apple keyboard fixed the computer problems. Working to fill orders.
