  1. Made a high density gardening bed for my neighbours 2 daughters at the weekend. When I install it will put photos on the web site.
  2. Set off for work in the dark, set off home in the dark. No gardening today.
  3. @casa_tyr I should hope they do survive living where you do. Good luck with the olive harvest. My lollo with have to cope with frost + snow.
  4. Just planted 20 lollo rosso and 20 rocket plants in a cold frame. Will have to see how they cope with the winter frosts in the UK. Cheers.
  5. Hope to collect more leaves this weekend to use as a mulch as long as the winds in Yorkshire, UK, haven't blown them away. Cheers.

  7. @AB_Counselling Thanks, nearly had flu, felt that bad, but it was only a cold. I have not felt that ill for 15 years. Cheers.
  8. Its now too dark when I get home from work to go in the garden, so gardening only on a weekend until the spring. Never mind.
  9. Collected a couple of cubic yards of finly shredded leaves to rot down into leafmould. Great for enhancing the soil next winter.
  10. Hi everyone. Been away and been ill. Back now. Not much gardening over this weekend due to the weather in the UK. Very Windy.
  11. Planted out some kale to over winter in the garden for spring greens. Put 1 each in each grid of the High Density Garden mini plots
  12. Been collecting loads of leaves again today. All shredded on the lawn then added to the leaf mold bin. Great for veg next year.
  13. @Toots2 Have you got a recipe for harissa paste? Thanks in advance.
  14. @Toots2 All red chillies are hung for drying in the kitchen. Loads of green chillis though. Any tips?
  15. @bluearmy99 Sorry no tips for whitefly. Too cold in UK to try a bio control. Will not the colder temps kill them off?:
  16. @prestolee Shred the leaves with the lawn mower. Doesn't work very well when they are wet. Shred them on the grass, then shred and collect.
  17. @Matericia It was a great dinner. Always tastes better when you cook your own. Just having radishes and 5 types of lettuce as part of tea.

  19. @AANANTHAN I guess you are not from Yorkshire, UK then. I am ready to pick my last 3 tomatoes then clean the green house.
  20. Today harvested beetroot, turnips, carrots, last few courgettes and celeriac. Just going to start cooking Sunday dinner with these veg
